The Coffy Bus

The late, great D'Wayne Wiggins gifted the HIP Team a bus. We hold his board seat open in his honor and pay tribute to him through the Young Adult Producer's Program, the HIP Soul Festival Workshop, and the community use of Coffy Bus, a 22-seat bus.

Curricula & Community

Structure first. Soul always.
The Coffy Bus is a vehicle—literally and poetically. Our mobile offerings are produced by HIP (Holter Intellectual Property, Inc.) in association with ATL Bus Company (Advanced Transportation Learning), directed by Dontrella McDonald, author of The Emotional Business Plan, Board Member at COMTO Chicago, and Project Manager in Chicago’s transportation sector.
From Casino Trips for Seniors to Rolling Karaoke for Literacy and the restorative Guided Spa Daze Away, these programs are more than events—they're soulful frameworks for joy, healing, and intergenerational connection. Each employable curriculum doubles as a fundraising portal, inviting organizations and event planners to co-create impact with flair and purpose.

Service is Our Love Language
Explore the Voices of Foster Care Retreat & Publishing Initiative, or become a co-producer of edutainment media that entertains, educates, and restores agency.
Donations, advertising, and bookings fuel our Coffy Travel Program, teaching artists how to tour their talents, move across stages, and steer their purpose toward the next destination.
Because on the Coffy Bus, curriculum isn’t just content—it’s a calling. And community isn’t just audience—it’s the route that makes the journey possible.

This is Jessica Holter, Creative Director of HIP INC, thanking you for your interest and friendship. Service is my love language. I look forward to serving communities in greater Chicago with your help and participation.
