But tonight, her world cracks: Ruby, the club’s star headliner, vanishes after her opening act, leaving only a trail of pearls in the alley where Funky John — Lucy’s ex‑partner and former flame — now lives.
Desperate to protect the club’s reputation, Lucy calls in Detective Jimmy, an old friend with a tangled past and feelings for Ruby he shouldn’t have. Inside the club, performers close ranks. Scarlett Falls slips into Ruby’s spotlight, Missy guards the dressing room like a vault, and Ruby’s locker is stripped bare. The music keeps playing… but the truth is hiding somewhere inside Club Surrender’s history.
