Club Surrender has reopened on the South Side of Chicago, drawing couples from across the city for a Valentine’s night of glamour, secrets, and velvet‑draped intrigue. But when the headliner vanishes after the first act, Club Owner Lucy calls on her old friend, Detective Jimmy, to investigate quietly. The show must go on — but behind the curtains, danger is already in play.
📜 The Story So Far… Ruby, Club Surrender’s dazzling headliner, disappeared moments after her opening number. Pearls from her signature dress were found scattered in the alley behind the club — the same alley where Funky John, Lucy’s ex‑partner in business and love, now lives and performs impromptu sidewalk shows. Lucy brings in Detective Jimmy, whose history with Ruby runs deeper than protocol. His marriage to Bettie is already strained, and this case threatens to pull him even further off course. As Jimmy interviews the performers, the truth becomes murkier: Scarlett Falls is slipping into Ruby’s spotlight — and perhaps her identity. Missy, known as Unpimpable, shuts down Jimmy’s questions and runs Funky John out of the dressing room before he can talk. Ruby’s locker is empty. The music keeps playing. The mystery deepens.
