Hosted by Jessica Holter — Every 2nd Sunday (Free Virtual Event)
When I was a kid in foster care, they put me in the G.A.T.E. program. Gifted and Talented, they said. But my foster mother, Mrs. Onick—born in 1923 in Texas—wasn’t impressed. “You know so much, you don’t know nothin’,” she’d say. “Jessie, you’re just a gifted fool.”
So I’m inviting gifted fools like me—those who’ve embraced knowledge, loved lies, and still know nothing at all—to join me for a monthly gathering. In fact, you can attend the Know Nothing Party with me on our first date, January 11th, when we’ll dive into my new book Truth is a Trap House, eat Natchez, Mississippi peach cobbler, sip tea, and mourn our intellectual innocence together.
It’s called the Coffy Books Literary Salon, and it happens every second Sunday. We read. We talk. We laugh. We cry. We sip from the well—where Jesus met the woman and offered living water. Where truth isn’t just preached—it’s felt.
If you’ve ever felt like you were dying of thirst while sitting at the well... If you’ve ever been told you were too smart for your own good... If you’ve ever wanted to read between the lines of history...
🎟️ RSVP to join us. It’s free. It’s virtual. It’s real. Come sit at the well.
